SUMMARY:

Urinalysis is a diagnostic examination of urine, providing valuable insights into an individual's health. This non-invasive procedure analyses the physical, chemical, and microscopic properties of urine to detect and manage various medical conditions.

Chemical analysis detects substances like glucose, ketone and protein, indicating diabetes, metabolic disorders or kidney issues. The identification of abnormal cells or bacteria may indicate infections or other health issues. Measurements of urine pH and specific gravity can reveal potential health issues.

Urinalysis is a crucial diagnostic tool with applications that include routine health check-ups for early disease detection, the monitoring of conditions, and support for prenatal care.
