Recently, the first commercial production line of NOVAtest eco portfolio, an environmentally biodegradable midstream sticks with the company’s full intellectual property rights and design, has officially begun commercial production. This environmentally friendly biodegradable midstream sticks are suitable for the company’s nearly all rapid diagnostic products in midstream stick format for urine specimen, such as reproductive health, infectious diseases, and drug addiction testing. Compared to traditional plastic materials, this product is lightweight, high strength, and waterproof, with the material made from plant fibers, making it environmentally friendly and fully biodegradable. The company expects to reach a monthly production capacity of 5 million tests by the end of 2023 to meet the high market demand for this product.

NOVAtest eco portfolio is a strategic product line launched by the company in response to ongoing concerns about environmental protection from various governments and people around the world. In 2020, Atlas Link Biotech invested special funds in the development and commercialization of a new type of material and the production of equipment. In 2022, the company released the NOVAtest eco portfolio platform module. The company plans to use this platform as a basis for producing all formats of its in vitro diagnostic rapid tests by 2024, and to cease the use of plastic materials by 2025.
